Assessment of business model

The Public Service Commission asked us to assess their business model given changes being considered to the State Sector Act.

The Commission needed to assess their current business model given changes being considered to the State Sector Act and in anticipation of having a more active role across the State sector. We reviewed links between their business model, strategy and level of resourcing, whether funding had kept up with changes in statutory responsibilities, and further opportunities for savings.  The review considered Crown funding, cost recovery and other potential funding mechanisms.
