Digital identity ecosystem

The speed of technological change is escalating, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep pace with customer expectations and growing demand. Work was therefore underway to consider options for the future delivery of identity authentication and verification services.

Our client asked us to develop the economic and financial cases of an indicative business case for the transition to alternative arrangements for a digital identity ecosystem. Intensive work was required to identify discrete options and the economic benefits associated with the introduction of a New Zealand-wide digital identity ecosystem. Our work fed into a business case that was considered by Ministers and helped shape the future of a digital identity ecosystem.
