Funding a new organisational structure

Our client was a new organisation which had been formed through the amalgamation of a number of smaller entities. Expectations were high and costs under the new structure had risen to a level that could not be funded by existing revenue streams.

We were asked to cost the proposed new organisation structure, forecasting the impacts on cash holdings and developing a funding strategy. In addition to cost savings, the strategy included options to scale back the size of the new organisation, refocus organisational strategy and increase funding. Our work has enabled the Board to make decisions about the size and future direction of the organisation.
