Funding ICT functional leadership

Getting your ducks in a row to establish and maintain funding for functional leadership across public sector agencies is a real challenge! Drawing on our earlier work with Treasury in this area, we led a joint Treasury and Department of Internal Affairs project with the objective of establishing sustainable funding arrangements for ICT common capabilities.

While this involved some technical financial issues, the greatest challenge was identifying the core issues that needed to be resolved and developing a shared understanding of ICT common capabilities.
