Managing the impact of pay equity claims

Pay equity issues will take a number of years to resolve. Often the challenge in working through claims by female workers seeking pay equity is finding rates for males and females doing the same role that enable a like-for-like comparison. This was the case for our client, and we provided analysis and advice to support the assessment process.

We also looked at funding options and assisted our client to develop proposals for contingencies to fund the possible cost of settling claims.
