Review of Safety Advisory Council

Safety initiatives and programmes are much more than spending to budget and working within a plan, especially when there are multiple parties involved and expectations differ. We were asked by ACC to review the operation of the Motorcycle Safety Advisory Council.

The Council was setup to advise on ways to reduce the rate of motorcycle accidents resulting in injury or death. Constructive consultation with all key parties identified a number of areas for improvement and issues that needed to be resolved in order to meet the programme objectives.
