Review of internal charges

The allocation of corporate costs is a source of ongoing friction in most public sector agencies. Both the size of the pie and how it is divided are hotly debated. We were asked to undertake an independent review of corporate charges in an agency to provide clarity over the charging methodology and to assess whether proposed charges were fair and reasonable.

We worked closely with the operational and corporate groups during the review and our recommendations were supported by all parties. The review process itself was beneficial and resulted in changes to charges and to the charge setting process itself.
